Yeah Bikes! Live Recording

For the next week and a half, I am featuring the music video and live recording of Yeah Bikes! to honor the Riverwest 24 (RW24) coming up next weekend. I am grateful I got to sing while biking on stage - the ultimate dream. Thanks to Johnson’s Cycle & Fitness.

At the show, I also released my music video found below. I encourage you to watch it especially if you do not know what the RW24 is.

RW24 is a community event where neighbors take their living rooms on the street to watch and/or participate in a 24 hour bike ride. The course is in Riverwest, Milwaukee, and is about 4.6 miles. People can do as many laps as they can and “win” or just have fun and bike as little as they want. You can do it solo, on a team, or just as a visitor. The lap tracking is done a punch card called manifests, and are only for official participants. If you have never been to RW24, bring your bike next Friday July 24 to 2600 Pierce St. at 7pm. (Better to get there earlier and see all the teams)

I’m particularly excited to go to the RW24 for this year because I will be teaming up with Bublr at the Humboldt and Townsend checkpoint on the 24th from 9pm-11pm. We’ll be ready to hole punch riders’ manifests and sing karaoke. If you sing karaoke, you will get a raffle ticket to win Bublr merch, Yeah Bikes! T-shirts, or $10 gift cards to Wheel and Sprocket.

Don’t forget - make sure you have a front and back light for your bike and a helmet. Seriously, wear a helmet! É bem legal.
